You may apply for an Operator's (Bartender) License in the Finance Department at Village Hall, 9915 39th
Avenue. The cost is $65.00 for a two-year license which must be paid at
the time the application is submitted. Applicants must provide one of
the following documents with the application:
- Proof that he or she is renewing an existing operator's license held in the Village of Pleasant Prairie
- Certificate showing completion of the beverage server training course within the last two years. A Responsible Beverage Server Course
is offered at Gateway Technical College (262-564-2400) or through the
Internet by visiting the Wisconsin Department of Revenue website (www.dor.state.wi.us) and in the Training category you may access a listing of vendors who offer a fee based course you may complete online.
- Copy
of a retail license, manager's license, or operator's license that the
applicant has held anywhere in the state within the last two years.
The
application will be forwarded to the Police Department for
investigation. After a recommendation to approve or deny the license is
received from the Police Department, the Village Clerk's Office will
process the application. Operator Licenses Applications will take
