Show off your photography skills and love for the community by entering your photos in the 2024 Pleasant Prairie Photo Contest.

Your photos could appear in the 2025 Village Calendar, website, social media, and other publications.

Photo Contest Rules and Information




Photo Contest Rules: 

1.  Anyone is eligible to enter the contest; however, the photos must be taken within the Village of Pleasant Prairie.

2.  By entering your photo(s) into the Village of Pleasant Prairie photo contest, you are automatically agreeing to Publicity Release/Permission to Reprint and Indemnity.

3.  Photos must be in landscape orientation.

4.  Only electronic files of the photos are accepted.

5.  Digital images may be submitted via Google Forms (link located on the right side of the screen) or email [email protected]. Digital images must be in JPG or PNG format and between 2 MB - 10 MB in size. An email with photo attachments totaling 10 MB or more will not make it through the email server. If submitting via email, include the entrant’s name, address, phone number, photo title, and photo location in the email. You can resize photos at BeFunky.com.

6. Photos taken prior to the start of the contest will be accepted. 

7.  Photos must not feature the intellectual property of others (ie, a registered trademark) and must be in good taste. 

8.  Minors may participate in the contest with parental consent. 

9.  Entries must be received on or before the submission date to be eligible. 

10.  All entries become the property of the Village of Pleasant Prairie and will not be returned. 

11. Village Staff will determine if a photo that has one or more people in it will be allowed into the contest. Photos cannot have images of people's faces.

12.  Employees of the Village of Pleasant Prairie are not eligible to win prizes, but are welcome to enter the contest. 

13. If the contest is not able to run as planned, the Village of Pleasant Prairie reserves the right to suspend or cancel the contest without notice. 

14. Village Staff/Judges’ decisions are final and no communication will be entered into. 

15. The Village of Pleasant Prairie is not responsible for any inaccurate or incorrect information. 

16. The Village of Pleasant Prairie reserves the right to crop and edit photos. 

17. Every attempt will be made to provide photo credit; but it is not guaranteed for all uses of the image by the Village of Pleasant Prairie. 

18. The Village of Pleasant Prairie assumes no responsibility for loss or damage to submitted photos. 

19. All accepted photos may be used in various media formats for an unlimited amount of time and at no cost to the Village of Pleasant Prairie. 

20. Contest entrants agree to all the rules and regulations set forth and by the decisions made by the Village Staff.
