Carol Beach Unit 1 Water & Drainage Project

The village is committed to maintaining a reliable and efficient water supply for all residents. This project focuses on upgrading the public water main system to ensure consistent service and prevent disruptions. Work will be completed with minimal impact to residents and will help ensure long-term sustainability for the community’s water infrastructure.

Planned work for week of May 12th includes continuing the construction of new water main and hydrants on 11th Avenue and culvert replacement within the neighborhood. Crews will begin water services on 111th Street.

The Village’s paving program focuses on the reconstruction of existing roadways to improve infrastructure and enhance ride quality for residents. This initiative involves rebuilding and resurfacing streets to provide smoother, safer, and more durable roads, supporting the village’s growth and ensuring long-term transportation reliability. Planned work for week of May 12th:

  
 
  • Section 2 (Located on 107th Street from 59th Avenue to Dead-end)

               We Energies to conitinue construction on their utilities.

  • Section 7 (Located on 116th Street from 39th Avenue to 35th Avenue)

Crews to begin pulverizing existing asphalt and grading operations. New asphalt placement is expected to begin on May 21st. 

  • Section 8 (Located at the 9200 block and 11400 block of Lakeshore Drive)

Crews to begin construction of new speed humps. Detoured and opened to one lane of traffic.
