Pleasant Prairie RecPlex will host a free community pickleball event on Tuesday, July 29, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the RecPlex Field House, located at 9900 Terwall Terrace, Pleasant Prairie. The event is open to all ages and skill levels. This event is in celebration of National Parks and Recreation Month, highlighting community engagement through recreation.
Designed as a drop-in format, the event offers open play on courts equipped with portable pickleball nets. No registration is required, and participants are welcome to attend at any time during the event. Players must bring their own paddles. Pickleballs will be available at the RecPlex front desk at no charge.
“Pickleball continues to grow in popularity, and this event gives residents a casual, welcoming opportunity to get on the court and try it out,” said Kacie DeChiara, Senior Sports Coordinator for the Village of Pleasant Prairie. “We hope this helps more people connect through active recreation.”
The event encourages physical activity and provides accessible recreational opportunities for the community.
