Community members and guests are invited to attend a job fair hosted by RecPlex on Thursday, November 4, between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. in the LakeView Studio at Pleasant Prairie RecPlex (9900 Terwall Terrace). The job fair is free and open to the public; no registration is needed to attend.
During the fair, everyone in attendance will have the opportunity to meet current staff and speak with representatives from different departments. In addition, attendees will learn what career paths are available at RecPlex and the Village of Pleasant Prairie. Applicants are encouraged to apply online for positions beforehand at
PleasantPrairieWi.gov/Employment. Candidates will have the possibility of receiving on-site interviews with the potential for same-day offers.
"The job fair is an exciting opportunity for anyone interested in getting involved and working for RecPlex, the largest municipal recreation facility in America," said Craig Anderson, RecPlex Director of Recreation. "RecPlex is continually looking for ways to improve programs, services, and commitments to staff. Current openings include: lifeguard, swim instructor, swim coach, guest services, skate instructor, hockey instructor, Zamboni driver, maintenance, custodian, concessions, bus driver, discovery counselor, therapeutic recreation clerk, youth counselor, preschool teacher, customer service/clerical support (Village Hall), and many other opportunities in recreation.
