On Monday, August 12, the Pleasant Prairie Plan Commission considered and approved final site and operational plans for Fresenius Kabi. The request was made by Steve Miller with Clayco, on behalf of the property owners Bluepoint 94 LLC, for the construction of a 590,525 square foot regional office and pharmaceutical storage and processing facility to be located at 11900 122nd Street in Stateline 94 Corporate Park.

The hours of operation will be 4:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. with two shifts. It is estimated to have 95 employees within the first three years and it is anticipated that the number of employees could reach up to 164 employees by 2028. These workers will be skilled in operating equipment as well as all regulations related to cGMP, Drug Supply Chain Security, and DEA requirements. They have a full electronic training system that ensures employees are trained on appropriate policies and procedures for their particular job function.
Fresenius Kabi is plans to take occupy of the building in spring of 2020.
