PLAN COMMISSION APPROVES CONCEPTUAL PLAN FOR CARE ANIMAL HOSPITAL
On Monday, June 22, the Pleasant Prairie Plan Commission considered and approved a Conceptual Plan and a Certified Survey Map for agents on behalf of Care Animal Hospital. Care Animal Hospital is planning to construct an 11,021 square foot veterinary office on approximately 2.162 acres in the Prairie Ridge Commercial area, once the property has been subdivided. The property is located on the north side of Prairie Ridge Boulevard, west of 88th Avenue in Pleasant Prairie.
Care Animal Hospital (CARE) has operated from a location on the north side of Highway 50 in Pleasant Prairie since April of 2000. CARE plans to relocate to the new larger location upon its completion in 2017. Hours for the clinic are proposed to be Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. CARE is also proposing to provide emergency services on an on-call basis. Between 128 and 160 customer visits are expected per day.
The Conceptual Plan along with the Certified Survey Map to subdivide the property into two parcels will be forwarded to the Pleasant Prairie Village Board for their consideration on July 6. With approval of the Conceptual Plan, agents on behalf of Care Animal Hospital will proceed with the site and operational planning process to further refine their plans.
