Updated Trick-or-Treat Date and Time

Trick-or-treating in the Village of Pleasant Prairie will be held on Halloween, Saturday, October 31, 2020, between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
During the September 21 public meeting, the Village Board decided to have trick-or-treating on Halloween for 2020. The goal is to align with other communities and limit extra visitors planning to take advantage of an additional trick-or-treat event.
Village President and Trustees cited the date change is partly due to the COVID-19 pandemic and stated switching the event to Halloween would help reduce crowds from gathering in the area. The timing allows families to enjoy trick-or-treating during daylight hours. Residents that plan to participate should turn on their front light to indicate they are passing out treats.
The Village would like to remind all residents to be safe during trick-or-treating times. Please follow the recommendations designed to curb the spread of COVID-19 by social distancing and wearing a mask.
