VILLAGE OF PLEASANT PRAIRIE TO SELL 18.58 ACRES NEAR I-94 TO ULINE
On
Monday, June 5, 2017, the Pleasant Prairie Village Board authorized a
Purchase and Sale Agreement enabling the sale of 18.58 acres to Route
165 LLC (Uline). The 18.58 acres is located at the southwest corner of
I-94 and County Highway Q, just east of Uline’s current corporate
campus. The land was recently dedicated to the Village of Pleasant
Prairie by its Community Development Authority to facilitate the
transaction. The total purchase price for the transaction will be
$7,572,500.
Interim Village Administrator Tom Shircel explained,
“This area has been prepared for high quality economic development over
the last three decades, in order to ensure the highest return on
investment for taxpayers. Uline’s purchase of this land will contribute
towards that end. They have a strong track record as a community minded
employer with the highest of standards. We’d like to thank the folks at
Uline for their continued investment in not only Pleasant Prairie but
throughout Kenosha County.”
Uline has not yet announced its
plans for the property. Additional information, including a copy of the
Purchase and Sale Agreement, is available in the June 5 2017 Village
Board e-packet posted
