Should an emergency occur in the Village, such as a tornado or large scale accident, the Village will post information to PleasantPrairieOnline.com, Twitter and Facebook. We also share information and updates with local media outlets.

During emergencies, the Village has the ability to contact residents directly through a service called Nixle by sending a text message or email to your smart phone. However, residents wishing to receive this information directly must subscribe to the service.
