Construction Site Accident

On September 13 at approximately 3:00 p.m., Pleasant Prairie Police and Fire & Rescue units responded to a report of an injury sustained at a road construction site located in the 9300 block of Sheridan Road.

Preliminary reports indicate that a construction site employee suffered serious injuries during a construction accident that resulted in the individual's passing at the scene. Investigators from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) were called to the scene.  

Out of respect for the family during this difficult time, the victim's identity will not be disclosed until relatives have been notified. The Pleasant Prairie Police Department extends its condolences to the co-workers and family affected by this tragic event.
