Police Investigate Man Found With Head Trauma on Roadside

On Tuesday, September 22, 2020, at 7:31 p.m., Pleasant Prairie Police and Fire Rescue personnel responded to a report of a subject bleeding from the head near 7th Avenue and 85th Street in Pleasant Prairie.
Police and Rescue personnel located the victim, a 33-year-old man from Kenosha with significant head trauma on the shoulder of 85th Street, just east of 7th Avenue. The victim was transported by ambulance to Froedtert South Pleasant Prairie. Due to the seriousness of his injuries, he was later transported to Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee. Details on his current condition are unknown.
Items recovered at the scene suggested the victim may have been struck by a vehicle while walking or jogging on 85th Street. Evidence from the accident scene indicates that the vehicle involved may be a 2015–2018 Dodge Ram 2500 or 3500, which may have been coming from the northern Carol Beach area around the time of the incident. This vehicle should have a passenger-side mirror with an additional towing mirror that was damaged and possibly missing from this incident.
The area on 85th Street between 3rd and 7th Avenues was closed for approximately 2 hours while investigators processed the scene.
