Construction to widen Old Green Bay Road, between Highway 165 and 95th Street, in Pleasant Prairie, will begin later this year. During construction, the intersection at Highway 165 and Old Green Bay Road will be closed for several weeks to allow crews to complete the needed improvements. Drivers could see contractor crews begin moving large equipment and start to install work zone signs this summer.
Bear Development plans to reconstruct Old Green Bay Road into a larger cross-section to accommodate the traffic from Highway 165, north to the Main Street Market project limits at 95th Street. A traffic signal and other safety features will be included with the re-development of the intersection at Highway 165 and Old Green Bay Road.
Detour routes and closure dates for the project will be provided at a later date.
