On November 13, the Pleasant Prairie Plan Commission approved a Digital Security Imaging System (DSIS) agreement and Access Easement for the Kwik Trip located at 8800 75th Street, formerly known as the PDQ site on behalf of Chris Nutini, Kwik Trip Project Manager. This location operates a gasoline/fueling facility, car wash and convenience store. The enhanced DSIS will provide surveillance of the exterior building perimeters, building entrance/exit areas, rear and side areas, walkways, picnic areas, parking lots and entrances within the development. With this agreement the company will meet current requirements and will be in compliance with the Village Security Ordinance provisions of the Village Municipal Code. Digital Security Imaging Systems assist in protecting the public's health, safety and welfare. The purpose of the Access Easement is to provide for the installation, operation and maintenance of the DSIS and will not interfere with the landowner's property.
This is one of three Kwik Trips in operation within the Village of Pleasant Prairie. Kwik trip recently purchased this PDQ store in the Village as part of a larger acquisition of 34 stores across the state. These stores are currently being remodeled and rebranded to fit the Kwik Trip model.
