NORTHBOUND LANE CLOSURE SCHEDULED ON 80TH AVENUE BETWEEN HIGHWAY 165 (104TH STREET) AND 10501 80TH AVENUE

Work DELAYED BY ONE DAY due to potential for rain...a northbound lane closure on 80th Avenue, between 104th Street and 10501 80th Avenue, is now scheduled to begin on Tuesday, April 11 at 8:00 a.m. and to last until Tuesday, April 25 at 3:30 p.m. During the closure, the southbound lane on 80th Avenue will remain open for southbound traffic only.

Traffic traveling northbound, from south of 109th Street, will be directed around the closure via a detour route. The route will direct northbound traffic on 80th Street to turn west onto 109th Street and then north onto 88th Avenue (County Highway H). Detour signage will be posted directing traffic around the lane closure. Access to 10501 80th Avenue will be maintained throughout the closure for both north- and southbound traffic.

The lane closure will accommodate work to install a sanitary sewer manhole and lateral. The schedule for the completion of the work is weather dependent. If work is completed ahead of schedule, the road will reopen accordingly.

Drivers in the project area are asked to abide by construction signage and to drive with great care and attention.
