Village Overview
The Village of Pleasant Prairie is located in the southeastern corner of Wisconsin, and is bordered by Illinois, Lake Michigan, I-94, and the City of Kenosha. The Village boundaries encompass a total area of 33.64 square miles with a balanced blend of residential neighborhoods, natural areas, retail shopping areas, and commercial and manufacturing districts.
The Village incorporated in 1989 with a population, at the time, of roughly 11,961. Since then the Village has experienced tremendous growth, both in terms of population and commercial and industrial growth.
